About the Founder
Founded in 2020 by Annie Hoyt, Deni was created with a simple purpose: to design pieces that embody authenticity, quality, and longevity. Annie’s vision for Deni grew from a desire to move away from fast fashion and toward timeless design, pieces that tell a story and last for years to come.
A graduate of the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University (Class of 2025), Annie brings a deep understanding of materials and craftsmanship to every collection.
While studying at the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University, Annie immersed herself in both design and entrepreneurship. She participated in several innovation and startup programs, including the Flex Factory Innovation Program during the summer of 2024. In February 2025, she was recognized for her creative approach by winning Most Innovative Company at NC State’s Pitch It to the Pack event. Later that year, she became a winner of the NC Entrepreneurship Clinic’s Andrews Launch Accelerator, where she continued developing Deni’s business model and brand vision. Annie also participated in community pitch events such as Raleigh Founded’s Pitch Please, further connecting with the local entrepreneurial community.
Today, she is dedicated full-time to growing Deni into a brand that values transparency, sustainability, and genuine connection with its community.
